#MyMinistryin50Words (Part 3) @monaemiller

I asked my brother to help me with some marketing material for my next CD and he told me to describe my ministry in 50 words. I thought I would share this list because I think it helped me stay focused on my purpose in ministry. Here is Part 3 of 5.

21. Rhythmic: Although I struggle with rhythm, I sing and play to my own beat.

22. Lyrical: I love great lyrical content.

23. Melodic: Oh like a melody, the Holy Spirit will surround me.

24. Truthful: I must tell the truth in all I do. If I lie, it eats away at me.

25. Funky: It’s different and makes you want to clap your hands.

26. Memorable: How could you forget me?

27. Joyful: I’ve definitely got the joy of the Lord.

28. Timely: I hate being late and I grew up in a house where if you were early, you were on-time and if you were on-time, you were late.

29. Scriptural: I love learning what the scripture says and incorporating the meaning into my music and the overall worship experience.

30. Musical: Just stop and listen to the music.

True Worship: Who is my role model?

Nations: grouping of like-minded people

Ps 2:1-2 Why are the nations so angry? …”Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God”

Why do these people want to break free from God? What does that really symbolize? Is that me? Sometimes I feel like walking as Christ did in this modern world is challenging in a sense because of the way media travels so fast. I know that David said in Psalms 3 he had “many enemies” against him but in closing that chapter he proclaimed that Victory comes from the Lord.

I have been trying to work on being a better worshipper an improve my attitude and I think I found my model. David was a true worshipper who was not perfect but he knew the power of God and was continually worshipping Him. Here are a few things I found:

1. David would pray to God every morning and wait for God to fulfill these requests (Ps 5:3)
2. David believed in the power of God. Power to heal (Ps 6:2). Power to restore (Ps 6:3). Power to rescue ( Ps 6:4).
3. David sang praises to the name of God (Ps 7:17) with all of his heart (Ps 9:1) publicly (Ps 9:14)
4. David trusted God completely (Ps 11:1)

I asked my brother to help me with some marketing material for my next CD and he told me to describe my ministry in 50 words. I thought I would share this list because I think it helped me stay focused on my purpose in ministry. Here is Part 2 of 5.
11. Giving: I feel like sometimes I give of myself too much and sometimes not enough
12. Patient: I am willing to wait for my reward “I’m On My Way”
13. Radical: My ministry is definitely a catalyst for change.
14. Organized: I have a minor case of OCD. I admit it. I have a plan for my plan but it doesn’t always agree with God’s plan.
15. Godly: I am always striving to be that Proverbs 31 woman for my husband. @kymiller00
16. No boundaries: I am no longer bound by the opinions of others. Praise God for maturity.
17. Heavenly: When I describe my thoughts when they are on God I can only imagine divine worship.
18. Firm: If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything. I’m standing on His promises.
19. Free: I praise God for the freedom of choice. There is so much power in your decisions.  I pray I choose wisely.
20. Soulful: My music is a direct reflection of how my soul connects with God.
